Our Jazz Band earned a Unanimous Superior at our first ever overnight Festival!!
CV Jazz Band earned first place at the festival in the Advanced Division. We had 4 other schools in our division!!!!
Our Sax section and Rhythm section won Best Sections for the festival.
We also were awarded “Festival Champion.”. We scored the highest marks out of all the Bands in all of the divisions.
There were 16 total bands!!!! We have never done this well!!

Symphony also received a GOLD rating and was invited to play at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Next year!!

Last Wednesday, March 21st, the Concert Band and the Wind Ensemble both earned Superior ratings at the SCSBOA Baldwin Park Festival!
Concert Band sounded awesome as a very confident, large class “A” band and gave an performance which amazed the three judges!
Wind Ensemble made history by earning their first Superior in the history of CV. Simply remarkable!
Both groups earned a Superior Rating in Sight-Reading.
Next step, Regionals for THREE group! Colony High School on May 18th!
